The specific functions and collection are as follows:
- Userregistration andlogin
The Wave Shark Official Website Applet provides registration and login functionality. When you are not registered and logged in the ASHARK website applet, or when you use the ASHARK website, you will use the products and/or services provided by us as a visitor. In order to provide you with a convenient and smooth experience on the ASHARK website, you can also use basic services such as page browsing without registering and logging in.
In order to comply with the requirements of laws and regulations, we need to collect your mobile phone number to create an account when you register as a user of Wave Shark’s official app. After you have completed your registration, you may supplement your account information by providing us with your nickname, avatar, and gender. You do not need to register for an account or provide information if you are only performing activities such as basic browsing within our products and/or services.
You may also use the account of a third party platform to log in and use the products and/or services of the ASHARK Official Website App. You need to authorise us to obtain the information you have registered with the third party platform (including your mobile phone number, ID, nicknames, avatars, and any other information you have authorised us to obtain), which will be used to bind it to the ASHARK Official Website App so that you can log in and use our relevant products and/or services directly.
2.Test drive
When you need to know or experience ASHARK technology, you can leave your contact information or make an appointment through ASHARK’s official website, ASHARK’s official app, or through our offline shops and authorized partners. When you are interested in booking a test drive, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, test drive model, province, city and dealer of your choice. In order to recommend the nearest test drive location to
you, we will ask you to authorise us to use your current location. Before you take a test drive, you will need to provide the test driver’s mobile phone number and valid identification number (motor vehicle driver’s licence) in order to verify the test driver’s identity and driving qualifications. When you provide the personal information of another person for a test drive appointment at , please ensure that you have obtained the consent of the subject of the personal information.
3.Dealer Enquiry
When you want to know more about our products, want us to contact you, or use the dealer map information query service on the official website of ASHARK Technology and ASHARK’s official applet, we will collect your intended car series, province and city, and apply to you for authorisation to use your current location in order to query and display the nearest dealers for you.
- Financialservices
ASHARK’s official website and ASHARK’s official applet provide the loan calculator function, which allows you to calculate the down payment amount, monthly payment and final payment for the instalment of a car purchase based on the intended car model, car type, financial institution, product, number of instalments, transaction price and loan amount. When you are interested in applying for a car loan, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, province, city, and selected dealer in order to process your car loan application.
- Usedcar business
ASHARK’s official website provides used car business consulting services. When you need to replace your ASHARK Technology, you can use the official replacement service through the official website of ASHARK Technology, or through our offline shops and authorised partners. When you intend to replace or sell your car, we will collect your name, mobile phone
number, province, city, vehicle information (old car model/model, first licensing time, kilometres). When you are interested in buying a used car, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, province and city in order to get in touch with you and communicate with you about your used car purchase needs.
- After-salesservice
When you need to use the after-sales service of ASHARK Technology through our offline shops and authorised partners, you can query the after-sales service outlets through the official website of ASHARK Technology and ASHARK’s official small program, and we will apply for authorisation from you to use your current location to query and display the nearest after-sales service outlets.
- Key AccountBusiness
The official website of ASHARK Technology provides consulting services for large customers to purchase cars. When you need to buy a car as a government enterprise, group and other large customers, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, province, city, the use of the car, the number of cars, the name of the company, the intention of the model, in order to provide large customers based on your needs and intentions to buy a car consulting and services.
- Newretail business
The official website of Wave Shark Technology provides new retail car purchase consulting services. When you need to buy a car as a national retail channel, financing and leasing platform, large-scale integrated car supermarkets and other new retail channels, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, province, city, company name, and cooperation needs, in order to provide new retail car purchase consulting and services based on your needs and intentions.
9.Distributors to join
The official website of Wave Shark Technology provides dealers with franchise consulting services. When you are interested in joining as a dealer of Wave Shark Technology, we will collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, province, city of interest, investment amount, business brand, in order to assess your qualifications for joining, and provide joining consulting and services.
10.Online Customer Service
In order to respond to your enquiry or request, you may choose to contact our customer service team by calling our service number or by using the “Live Chat” function. If you use the “Live Chat” function, we need to collect your name, contact information and details of your communication (e.g. vehicle VIN number, photo, video, voice or current location provided by you during the communication).
- Operationalsafety
In order to protect your normal use of our products and services, to maintain the normal operation of our products and services, and to protect the security of your personal information, we will obtain your device information when maintaining operational security, which mainly includes device identifiers (IMEI /IDFV/OPENUDID/OAID/GUID/IMSI), hardware address of the network device (MAC address), device parameters and system information (device type, device model, operating system, screen resolution, and hardware-related information), and information about the device’s network environment (IP address, sensor information such as WiFi access points, Bluetooth, and base stations).
We will collect operation logs and service log information generated in the course of your use of our products and services, mainly including the content you post and browse when using our products and services, the time and type of operation when posting the content, the network originating address, the destination address, the port, the date and time of access, and the
accessing IP information for the purpose of identifying product problems and optimising the product experience.
(ii) Personal information collected for the purpose of expanding business functions
In order to enhance and optimise the quality of ASHARK’s products and services, the following services may collect and use your personal information. If you do not provide this personal information, you can still use our basic products and services, but you may not be able to use these expanded services. Specific features and collection are listed below:

In order to provide you with more convenient car inquiry service, more flexible communication mechanism, and more abundant activity planning, we may interact with you through research questionnaires, new media live broadcasts, activity lucky draws, advertisements, and chat dialogues in the form of , and in the course of the interaction, with your consent, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, province, city, and other necessary personal information arising from the inquiry, and in case of prize mailing, transportation and accommodation booking, we may also need to collect your address, valid document number (ID card or passport), and other necessary personal information. - For the purpose of safeguarding your or other individuals’ life, propertyand other significant legitimate rights and interests but it is difficult to obtain my authorised consent;
- Personal information that you yourself have disclosed to the public;
- Collect your personal information from legitimate news reports, government information disclosure and other legitimate public information channels;
- Your personal information necessary to sign and perform the contract at your request;
- Other cases stipulated by laws and regulations.
(v) System permissions invoked by the official website of ASHARK Technology and the ASHARK website applet
In order to make the process easier for you and thus enhance your experience, our products and services may request access to system permissions. These permissions will only be activated with your explicit consent and will only access your personal information when required for a particular function or service. The timing and frequency of activation of system privileges will be based on your actual authorisation; if you choose not to activate the relevant privileges, we will not request authorisation from you more frequently.

III. How we commission, provide, transfer and publicly disclose your personal information
(i) Commissioning
Some of the features/services covered by this Privacy Policy are supported by third parties commissioned by us to provide support to you, and we will only commission these third parties to process the personal information necessary for the purpose of providing you with support for such features/services. Third parties with whom we have entrusted the processing of personal information will be bound by strict confidentiality agreements and entrusted processing agreements that require them to process personal information in
accordance with our requirements, this Privacy Policy and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures. In the event that the entrusted processing agreement is not in force, is not valid, is revoked or is terminated, we will require them to return, delete or anonymise your personal information to us.
(ii)External availability
We will only provide your personal information to outside parties in the following circumstances:
- Provision to Affiliated Companies: Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, we may provide your personal information to our affiliated companies. We will only provide personal information that is necessary for the purpose of providing products and services and improving the quality of those services. Our affiliates will not use your personal information for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy without your consent;
- To business partners: only for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, some of our services will be provided with the assistance of our partners. We may provide some of your personal information to these business partners to provide better customer service and user experience;

(iii) Third-party SDK
In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of our products and services or to realise relevant functions, we may access software development kits (SDK) provided by third parties, and when you use the functions provided by third party SDK in our products and services, the third party SDK may collect and process your personal information. We will strictly monitor the security of the software development kits (SDK) and application programming interfaces (API) used by third parties to obtain information, and agree on stringent data protection measures to make them process personal information in accordance with this Policy and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures . In order to maximise the security of your information, we strongly recommend that you check the privacy terms of any third-party SDK based services before using them; if you find these SDK to be risky, we recommend that you terminate the relevant operation immediately and contact us in a timely manner.

(iv)Transfers
We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organisation or individual unless we have your express consent.
When we are involved in transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, dissolutions, asset transfers, etc., if the transfer of personal information is involved, prior to the transfer of your personal information, we will notify you of the name and contact information of the recipient, and require the company, organisation or individual who receives your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy, or else we will require that company, organisation or individual to re-submit the authorised consent to you.

We will comply with relevant laws and regulations and keep your personal information confidential. We will not disclose any personal information that you have not already disclosed to us, except in accordance with laws and regulations or with your individual consent.

We have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorised access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss. For example, data exchanged between your client and our servers is encrypted using the SSL protocol; pages are securely viewed using the HTTPS protocol; we use encryption technology with strengths of AES256, RSA2048 or higher to enhance the security of your personal information; and we use trusted protection mechanisms to protect your personal information from malicious attacks.
We will deploy access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorised personnel have access to personal information. We organise training courses on security and privacy protection to raise employees’ awareness of the importance of protecting personal information. We restrict access to personal information to our and our affiliates’ employees and partners who have a need to know, and we have strict access control and monitoring mechanisms in place. We also require all persons who may have access to your personal information to fulfil appropriate confidentiality obligations. Failure to fulfil these obligations may result in legal action or suspension of the relationship with us.
- Personal information security incidents
In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will immediately set up a special emergency response team, activate the emergency response plan to prevent the security incident from expanding, and promptly inform you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations of the following: the basic situation of the security incident and its possible impacts, the disposal measures that we have taken or will take, the suggestions that you can independently take precautions to prevent and mitigate the risks, and remedial measures for you. We will promptly inform you of the relevant situation of the incident by email, letter, phone call, push notification, etc. When it is difficult to inform you one by one, we will take reasonable and effective ways to publish announcements. At the same time, we will also take the initiative to report the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory authorities.
However, the Internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and we strongly recommend that you assist us in ensuring the security of your personal information through secure means and the use of complex passwords. If you find that your personal information has been compromised, please contact us immediately according to the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy so that we can take appropriate measures.
We also ask you to understand that, due to technical limitations and the possible existence of a variety of malicious means, in the Internet environment, even if every effort is made to strengthen the security measures, it is not always possible to ensure that the information is 100 per cent secure, and we will do our best to ensure that the security of the personal information that you have provided to us.
(ii) How we store your personal information
In accordance with laws and regulations, we store your personal information collected and generated in the course of our domestic operations in the People’s Republic of China, specifically in the cloud server located in ShenZhen. Currently, we do not transfer your personal information outside of China. If we need to transfer your personal information outside of China based on specific scenarios, we will strictly follow the requirements of relevant laws and regulations or obtain your consent separately.
We will take reasonably practicable steps to store your personal information and endeavour not to collect irrelevant personal information. We will only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy and as required by applicable laws and regulations. For example, in accordance with the requirements of the E-Commerce Law of the People’s Republic of China, we will retain information on the products, services and transactions of paid applications and in-app paid services purchased in the application market for a period of not less than three years from the date of completion of the transaction; in accordance with the requirements of the Cybersecurity Law of the People’s Republic of China, we will retain weblogs of your use of the application services for not less than six months; and in accordance with the requirements of the Automobile Sales and Distribution Law, we will retain personal information of you for not less than six months. months; we will keep the file of your car sales, user and other information for not less than 10 years in accordance with the requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Automobile Sales and the Requirements for the Security Management of Internet Interactive Services. And our criteria for judging the foregoing period include:
- To fulfil the purpose of the service in relation to you, to maintain appropriate service and business records, and to respond to any enquiries or complaints youmay have;
- Ensure the safety and quality of the services we provide to you;
- Whether you agree to a longer retention period;
- Whether there is any other special agreement on the duration of the reservation.
- After your personal information exceeds the retention period, we will delete your personal information or anonymise it as required by applicable law.
- Howyou manage your personal information
We take the management of your personal information very seriously and, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we will take appropriate technical measures to ensure that you can exercise the following rights with respect to your personal information. It should be noted, however, that based on certain exceptions, we may deny your request to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You can access the personal information and other data you have provided by contacting our customer service team by calling the service number.
- Correction andsupplementation of personal information
If you find that the personal information we have collected or stored is inaccurate or incomplete and you need to update your personal information, you have the right to make corrections or additions. You can contact our customer service team by calling our service number and submitting your request for correction or supplementation to our customer service.
(iii) Copying of personal information
You can contact our customer service team by calling our service number to download the personal information you have provided and we will send a copy of your personal information to your designated email address.
(iv)Managing your authorisations
You can change the scope of your authorised consent or withdraw your authorised consent in the following ways:
- You can turn off the corresponding device permissions (including location, clipboard, network and WiFi status) through the settings function of your device;
- You can withdraw your authorisation for us to access your personalinformation by contacting our customer service team by calling our service number;
- You may also submit a request to change the scope of your authorised consent or withdraw your consent via the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy (or the customer service contact information).
When you withdraw your consent or authorisation, it may result in us being unable to continue to provide you with the services to which the withdrawn authorisation relates. However, the withdrawal of your consent or authorisation will not affect the processing of personal information based on your consent prior to the withdrawal.
(v) Deletion of personal information
In the following cases, you may make a request to us to delete your personal information:
- If we handle personal information in violation of laws or administrative regulations or in violation of an agreement;
- If the purpose of the treatment has been achieved, cannot be achieved or is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of the treatment;
- if we cease to provide products or services, or if the retention period has expired;
- If you withdraw your consent;
- Other cases stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
You can make your deletion request by contacting our customer service team by calling our service number. If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the third parties from whom we obtained your personal information and ask them to delete it in a timely manner, unless otherwise required by law or regulation, or if these third parties have been independently authorised by you. When you delete information from our products and/or services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information in our backup system, but we will stop processing it except for storing it and taking the necessary security measures, and we will delete it when the backups are updated or the retention period stipulated by laws or administrative regulations expires.
If we cease to operate our products or services, we will promptly cease activities that continue to collect your personal information, notify you of the cessation of operations by means of a public notice 30 days in advance, and delete or anonymise your personal information in our possession in accordance with applicable law.
(vi) Cancellation of accounts
The official website of ASHARK Technology does not provide account registration channels, and will only collect and process your retained information, and therefore does not support account cancellation. If you need to make a request to us to delete your personal information, please refer to (E)
Deletion of personal information.
You can apply for cancellation of ASHARK’s account through ASHARK’s official app – “My” in the cancellation portal or call our customer service team to apply for cancellation of ASHARK’s official app account. Unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will stop providing services to you after cancellation of your account and delete your personal information according to your request, we will delete your personal information or anonymise it when the system is updated (within 15 working days after we receive your request), and we will no longer do any processing of your personal information that has already been collected during the period between the receipt of your request for cancellation of your account and the update of the system. In the event that the retention period stipulated by laws and administrative regulations has not expired, or that deletion of personal information is technically difficult to achieve, we will stop processing other than storing and taking the necessary security measures.
Once you cancelled ASHARK official website account, your third-party account authorization login binding relationship will be automatically unbound, so please be careful. In order to protect your legitimate rights and interests or the legitimate rights and interests of others, we will take into account your use of ASHARK technology products and services to determine whether to support your cancellation request.
(vii)Rights related to the deceased
We follow the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations to respect and protect the personal information of the deceased. Your next of kin may, for their own legitimate and proper interests, contact our customer service team by calling the service number to exercise the rights of access, copying, correction and deletion of your personal information as stipulated by the law; unless you have made other arrangements.
(viii) You have the right to request the transfer of personal information to the personal information processor designated by you.
You have the right to request the transfer of your personal information to the personal information processor you have nominated. If you need to transfer your personal information, you can contact our customer service team by calling our service number. We will transfer your personal information to the personal information processor designated by you according to your request, provided that the conditions stipulated by laws and regulations and the State Internet Information Department are met and technically feasible.
(ix)Responding to your request above
If you or possibly your guardians, close relatives and other entitled subjects are unable to exercise your rights to personal information in the above manner, you may contact our customer service team by calling the service number. The customer service team may need to verify your identity and respond to your request within 15 working days after verifying your identity, and for your request to delete sensitive personal information, we will respond to your request within 10 working days.
In principle, we do not charge you for reasonable requests, but for requests that are repeated more than is reasonable, we will charge a fee for the costs incurred, where appropriate. We may refuse requests that are unwarrantedly repetitive, require excessive technical effort (for example, the development of a new system or a fundamental change in current practice), pose a risk to the legal rights of others, or are highly impractical (for example, involving the backing up of information stored on magnetic tapes).
We will not be able to respond to your request in the following circumstances:
- related to the fulfilment of our obligations under laws and regulations;
- Those directly related to national security and defence security;
- Directly related to public safety, public health, and significant public interest;
- Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgements;
- We have sufficient evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
- For the purpose of safeguarding your or other individuals’ life, property and other important legal rights and interests but it is difficult to obtain my consent;
- Responding to your request will lead to serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organisations;
- Involving trade secrets.
- How we protect minors’ personal information
We take the protection of minors’ personal information very seriously. Our products, websites and services are primarily aimed at adults. We do not actively collect personal information from minors directly. If you are a minor,
